How do you replace the propeller on a mercruiser alpha one outdrive? - mercruiser alpha template

I replaced my alum prop in the same tone stainless steel prop load shedding Nite and all went well.
However, when I pressed that wouldnt seem to reinforce the whole way, it seems that something has been removed, but I looked up the steps and everything went well and we have the boat on Sunday with the support bra old and everything was fine .
There are a couple, or am I missing something?
